TwixT

History

TwixT was invented in 1957 by game designer Alex Randolph. In 1961 the game was redesigned as a board game as one of the first in 3M's series of bookshelf games. The board game is still produced in Germany under license from Avalon Hill, who bought the rights from 3M in 1976.

TwixT is traditionally played on a 24 x 24 grid.
